Survey and measure
We confirm the identified material, elevations, approximate area, access constraints and interfaces with windows, services and other trades.
BONDED ASBESTOS CLADDING
Asbestos-cement wall cladding and baseboards were used on many New Zealand buildings. Renovations, recladding, extensions and demolition can disturb those sheets and their fixings. PropertyHelp Ltd provides controlled Class B removal for bonded asbestos cladding, working with homeowners and builders so the structure is left ready for the next trade wherever the agreed scope allows.
WHAT WE CAN ASSESS
Every asbestos project needs a scope based on the identified material, its condition and the work that will disturb it. PropertyHelp reviews the available survey information and confirms whether the proposed work is suitable for a Class B removal method.

OUR APPROACH
We confirm the identified material, elevations, approximate area, access constraints and interfaces with windows, services and other trades.
Exclusion areas, ground protection, decontamination arrangements, PPE/RPE and waste routes are established for the site.
The team dampens material as appropriate and removes fixings and sheets using low-dust methods designed to keep bonded material intact.
Visible debris is removed, asbestos waste is packaged for lawful disposal and completion information is provided for the next stage.
SITE-SPECIFIC DETAILS
Access, material condition, height, neighbouring properties and other trades can change the controls and programme. We identify these issues before work starts and explain what is included in the quotation.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Often yes. The practical scope depends on sheet layout, access, condition and how the remaining sheets can be left secure.
We coordinate the agreed asbestos-removal boundary. Any framing repair, weatherproofing or recladding should be planned with the builder as follow-on work.
Photographs and a survey help with an initial assessment, but some projects require a site visit to confirm area, height and access.
Important: Do not drill, sand, cut, scrape or break suspected asbestos. If material is damaged, keep people away and seek competent advice.
GET A CLEAR SCOPE
