Classify the work
We check the survey or test results, material condition, any asbestos-contaminated dust or debris, the proposed method and whether the work fits our Class B licence.
LICENSED CLASS B REMOVAL
PropertyHelp Ltd provides Class B asbestos removal across Auckland and Waikato for homes, garages, sleepouts and small commercial properties. We remove identified bonded asbestos materials including eaves, cladding, baseboards, vinyl flooring and selected roofing products. Every quotation is based on the actual property, access and survey information, so the removal method and price are clear before work begins.
WHAT WE CAN ASSESS
Every asbestos project needs a scope based on the identified material, its condition and the work that will disturb it. PropertyHelp reviews the available survey information and confirms whether the proposed work is suitable for a Class B removal method.
OUR APPROACH
We check the survey or test results, material condition, any asbestos-contaminated dust or debris, the proposed method and whether the work fits our Class B licence.
The scope and site risks are confirmed, a site-specific asbestos removal control plan is prepared, and licensed removal is notified to WorkSafe at least five days before site set-up unless a regulatory exception applies.
The area is isolated and trained workers follow the ARCP, PPE, RPE and decontamination controls. The Class B supervisor remains in the general area nearby, in person, and readily available.
The area is cleaned and checked, waste is packaged for lawful disposal, and the agreed handover or independent clearance documentation is completed.
SITE-SPECIFIC DETAILS
Access, material condition, height, neighbouring properties and other trades can change the controls and programme. We identify these issues before work starts and explain what is included in the quotation.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Cost depends on the material, area, access, condition, height controls, disposal and clearance requirements. Send photographs and any test results for an initial review.
That depends on the work area and controls. We explain access restrictions before work begins and keep the asbestos work area isolated.
A Class B licence covers non-friable asbestos and associated dust or debris. The material and proposed method must be assessed before the job is accepted.
Important: Do not drill, sand, cut, scrape or break suspected asbestos. If material is damaged, keep people away and seek competent advice.
GET A CLEAR SCOPE
Send the address, asbestos survey or laboratory results, clear photographs and your preferred timeframe. We will review the information and explain the next step.
