PLANNING BEFORE A HOUSE MOVE
House relocation can expose or disturb asbestos-cement baseboards around the subfloor. Our new practical guide explains what homeowners, house movers and project managers should confirm before lifting day.

Read practical guidance on pricing, surveys, clearance and WorkSafe's April 2026 asbestos update.
A CLEAR WAY FORWARD
We confirm the material, condition, dust or debris, proposed method and whether the work fits our Class B licence.
A site-specific ARCP is prepared and licensed removal work is notified to WorkSafe within the required timeframe.
The area is isolated, workers follow the ARCP, and the Class B supervisor remains nearby in person and readily available.
The area is cleaned and checked, waste is lawfully disposed of, and the agreed handover or independent clearance records are supplied.

READY TO PLAN THE NEXT STEP?
Tell us the suburb, material involved, approximate size and timing. Attach any survey, lab result or photos through the enquiry form when available. Photos help us understand the job but cannot confirm asbestos.
Use the enquiry form or call John directly to discuss the job.
